Personal confidentiality undertaking

as an employee of the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (hereinafter "Kela"), as a person holding a position of trust in Kela, with Kela working in the same premises as Kela, carrying out an assignment issued by Kela or concerning Kela, participating in a tender procedure participating in a tender or otherwise cooperating with Kela, I undertake to keep confidential any documents I have drawn up or commissioned from Kela. or in the course of cooperation, which have otherwise arisen, been disclosed to me or otherwise come to my knowledge in accordance with the law. specified by law as confidential or otherwise covered by the obligation of professional secrecy.

Material and information covered by the obligation of professional secrecy and confidentiality are. of the Public Authority Act (621/1999) or information otherwise covered by the obligation of professional secrecy. Such data may include, for example, personal data of Kela's customers, contracts, information on buildings, premises, information systems or security arrangements for persons, plans for emergency preparedness, other information relating to Kela's or state security, or the business and professional secrets of contractors. The obligation of secrecy and confidentiality and the prohibition of exploitation are not affected by the form of the information (e.g. written, oral, electronic) or its the means of transmission.

I also undertake not to use information covered by the obligation of professional secrecy and confidentiality for any purpose other than the performance of my duties or tasks. I will use such information only to the extent necessary for the performance of my task or assignment and I will comply with the processing instructions issued by Kela for the processing of confidential information and personal data. I am aware that Kela may, with my consent, have a security clearance carried out on me in accordance with the Security Clearance Act (726/2014) (personal security clearance).

I am aware of and agree to comply with the regulations on confidentiality of confidential information, personal data and business secrets of the Authority, the security obligations and guidelines for cooperation. I understand that breaching confidentiality and professional secrecy may constitute a criminal offence. I am bound by the obligation of secrecy and confidentiality even after my activities or participation in the performance of my assignment or other duties at Kela have ended.

I confirm that I have read and understood my obligations of confidentiality and discretion. I undertake to comply with these obligations.
